I won't comment much on Diablo 3 here since I've been talking about it in length. Suffice to say I think the always on gambit has produced mixed results - it hasn't really stopped account compromise issues (although I remain convinced that the legions of 'hacked' accounts are phished, not actually hacked) and it's annoying to see that I can't play a single player game because an authentication server is down.
I've been on hiatus from WoW since about March, popping in occasionally to see if anyone else is on. The answer is usually, "No." From the brief time I've spent with the Mists of Pandaria demo, I'm confident that the expansion will breathe some new life into the WoW paradigm. Hopefully all my guild mates will give it a chance to re-impress them.
In February I finally, finally finished Final Fantasy XIII. It wasn't bad, after I got into it. But it sure took a while to get going. I purchased but have not yet started Final Fantasy XIII-2. I'm hopeful that I don't wait three years to get to it like I did with its predecessor.
Really, these days my XBox gets used more as a streaming video player than it does as a gaming console. I've been going through Saturday Night Live from the beginning. I'm presently stuck in 1996.
I'm also in the middle of Doctor Who. I stopped back in 2009 when they switched from the Tenth to the Eleventh Doctor, so I've got the entirety of Season 5 and Season 6 with no long breaks. It's been pretty good, so far. Matt Smith has grown into the role, but I still prefer David Tennant. Bow ties and fezes are cool, but trench coats and glasses are cooler.
