National Geographic is airing a new special this weekend entitled "Finding Atlantis" which is about... well, finding Atlantis. This time, the researchers say it was on the coastal mud flats of Spain, and was wiped out by a tsunami.
Plausible enough, but I still prefer the theory that Atlantis was located on the island of Thera and got blown to bits when the volcano erupted.
Actually, I prefer that Atlantis was a super-continent in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, infamous for its dark blood magic and warring kingdoms, and the homeland of the man that would eventually become Merlin. But that's probably rather unhistorical.
